Rationale
After Reading the text about Blacks African during the Apartheid I will write an article related to the African American for my School newspaper. This text will be published in a section called “Say No To Racism”. I think that every Student in the School should know about this important topic, that’s why I’m writing this. I will especially focus on some of the most important aspects about the situation of the African American. For example, why they are discriminated, searching for equality and the present situation in USA.

Historical Fight For Their Rights
Being African American has never been easy. African American have been always discriminated, although blacks have showed to the world that they were important for the American history through inventions, sports, and political science. The way White America has looked down on blacks has never changed. No matter how much money they have, they’re still a “nigga.” African Americans have been fighting for equality since the birth of that nation. At this point in America’s history, a battle of epic proportions is taking place. The objective is to realize that there is still much more to be done to eliminate the crimes that have been perpetrated and perpetuated against so-called minorities in this American democracy.
After committing genocide against Native Americans, and securing the slave trade-- one of the most terrible situations that the world has seen-- are "minorities" supposed to be pleased by more legislation in the form of Civil rights? After centuries of free labor, and leaving thousands of people homeless and/or with no economic power, does America truly believe that it has rid itself of this situation by exclaiming, "You are equal!" For example, A Black man goes to see an apartment after calling the landlord to make sure that is was still available. After seeing the man in person, the landlord becomes uncomfortable and says the apartment has already been rented. Why? The black has not do anything wrong but he has been discriminated too. This is an example of stereotyping that we as black people see every day.
Another example, In the State of New Jersey, for example, Blacks were almost five times more likely as other drivers to be stopped by the police on the highway.
I think that the African American shouldn’t be discriminated because they are just the same as the White Americans; both are people. The African American keeps searching for equality, still today. Same as the white population, they are looking to be granted all human rights, such as education and health care.
