In the next text I will speak about small topics related with Diet and Nutrition.
What is nutrition?
Simply said, Nutrition is the study of food and how it works in our bodies, also It is our source of energy, and the medium through which our nutrients can function. Thinking of nutrition as building blocks of life ,we, humans, are always in the search of Energy because that is what make us move, breath, speak; talk and simply we just need it for living.
There are a lot of types of nutrition, the most important nutrients are carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids. We need a little bit of all of them. Nutrition is one of the most essential things in the world that’s why we must take care in the way we consume nutrients.
What is a Diet?
In nutrition, a Diet is the sum of food that a human consume for their body as a way to earn Energy. We musT consume at least 2600 Calories a day to have a healthy life. We must take care of the food that we eat because it might be dangerous when someone eats very little and when we eat a lot. Then our organism will account for our mistakes. Some nutrients for example carbohydrates and proteins are important for our body but Lipids in abundance will bring us a huge health problem. An orderly Diet must be always regulated because if we don’t do that, we’ll have an eating disorder in the future.
Another important thing about Diet is that along the world there are a lot of multi-cultural countries that’s why there is a lot of food variety and in some places some food is more important than others because of the traditions.
Bad Nutrition
The effects of bad nutrition can manifest as overweight, obesity, malnourishment -- which is a stable weight below normal -- and malnutrition, which refers to excess and undernourishment.
Bad nutrition affects rich and poor countries alike. However, its severity is directly related to the causes of the problem, which include personal choice, poverty, increasing food prices and easy access to non-nutritious foods.
Feeding America reports that as of 2010, unemployment in the United States surpasses poverty as an indicator of food insecurity. Other causes might prevail for specific groups, such as the elderly and young adults
Healthy Nutrition
Eating healthily is one of the most valuable things for an organism. A balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help you feel your best.
For certain people it might be difficult but it is so positive and most people in the world havent realized about this situation. So, healthy Nutrition has a lot of leads for persons, for example we can prevent a heart issue and the excess weight will not be a danger and also for the infants it is important for correct growth. The best lead for me is that Healthy Nutrition is the key to good physical appearance.
What causes poor nutrition?
Poor eating habits include under- or over-eating, not having enough of the healthy foods we need each day, or consuming too many types of food and drink, which are low in fibre or high in fat, salt and/or sugar.
Consequences of a poor diet.
Some of the consequences of a bad Alimentation are:
Obesity
Hypertension
High Cholesterol and Heart Disease
Diabetes
Some cancers
Depression
Eating disorders.
